DAILY LIFE SERIES: 4 |
1999“This show took four years to develop instead of the two I’d
planned. It was a complex piece and difficult, viewing evil within
the context of childhood. It had to be managed very sensitively. The
material generated for the book revealed the participating students’ sophisticated,
realistic but optimistic view of the world of adults. My show in the
classroom was quiet, strange and subtle and unlike anything I’ve
done before or since. People generally left the classroom in silence,
sometimes in tears.” BACK TO DAILY LIFE |
